I met a guy named Jim at a trade show while I was working in New York City.  Being a stand-up comic himself, he loved hearing my penchant for wordplay and puns, and followed me around like a little puppy for the whole show.  We spent one night out late walking all over Manhattan, and he took me to the airport my last day.  Once I got back home to California, we started talking every night.  I realized that I had to find out what was going on here, and flew back out to New York to see him again.  The anticipation of spending time with my brand new boyfriend made that the longest and loneliest flight of my whole life!  The following month, it was Jim's turn to come visit me in California.  I remembered well the agony of sitting on a plane several hours waiting to see him, and didn't want Jim to feel the same thing.  So I decided to make his flight a little more...interesting.  I know that he'd be taking Delta out of Boston.  I called Delta at Logan Airport, and spoke with a very nice woman who was willing to help me.  I then overnighted her a letter and she agreed to help me with my plan.  About an hour or two into Jim's flight, after he had finished hes meal, the flight staff gave him the letter.  Jim got to hear from me halfway across the country, and his time in the air wasn't as lonely!

Best date ever was with a guy I met at a labor conference in Detroit.  We met at a reception and spent the evening talking about Don Miguel Ruiz's Four Agreements.  He was strong, masculine, free thinker and not afraid to show his feminine side.  Loved it!
